Kalika is a ceramic designer from British Columbia.

"I make pots for every day, for simple meals and grand feasts,
morning coffee or tea with friends. I focus on craftsmanship, functionality and simplicity.

Where? Currently my home based studio in the Rocky Mountain town of Golden, BC. I studied ceramics at Alberta College of Art and Design and completed a residency at Red Star Studios in Kansas City, MO.

When? I have been a studio potter since 2010. I love making during quiet early mornings but I have been known to be in the studio late at night too.
Handmade objects take time and care.

Why? Because I love seeing people connect around a table or over a cup of coffee. Because I love food- growing it, preparing it, sharing it."
