Influenced by the growing number of devastating wildfires in Canada and around the world, ‘Consumed’ is comprised of fifteen turned, carved and burned sculptural wood vessels, exploring the themes of fragility, resilience and our relationship with nature.
Each is original in shape and carving, and individually burned and sealed with a clear medium. Each sculpture stands approximately 30"-36" tall. Each is attached to a custom metal base.
Consumed sculptures were part of a special exhibit that ran in September, 2021.
